the LUNS that you want.

5.3 Initiator Group Creation

Note: If setting up a VIO environment, it is recommended to set up separate Initiator Groups for LPAR boot

LUNS (one per LPAR) and data LUNS (one per cluster).

1. Create IGROUP. Create (Add) a new Initiator group (IGroup) by clicking on “add IGroup”, provide a

name unique to the hostname.

2. Ensure that the Zoning is done and the HBA’s can see the Array Targets based on the topology

decided.

Then Select the right HBA WWPNs you want to be associated with the iGroup and hit “save.”

Then assign initiators to Igroup and click OK.
